I am a purple belt under Ricardo Vieira at Checkmat.
As a dedicated practitioner, I have learned through experience, trial and error, the importance and absolute necessity for prehab to avoid rehab.

Inevitably, choosing a full contact martial art comes with some bang ups, which can most often heal with attention to detail, but the unpredictable movement with another body can unfortunately cause serious damage over time.

Wether you are casual or competitive, mobility and preventative measures are non-negotiable.

Consider whole body mobility as fundamental a skill as protecting your neck…you know what I mean.
