About me
I’ve taught movement for over a decade. The last few years, I devoted myself to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — training five days a week with a highly competitive team. I’m a (currently resting) purple belt. Alongside that, I’ve always practiced and taught Yoga and Mobility, strength trained, and walked like it was my full-time job.
In mid-2024, life changed dramatically. I got very sick and spent time in the hospital. After two emergency surgeries, a lot of downtime, and — fortunately — immense love and support, I recovered. It didn’t happen overnight; it demanded all my patience.
Health had always been a focus, but I hadn’t truly studied it. That changed. Diving into movement and, more recently, nutrition became my new passion — the gift that came from the grit. I thought I was doing “pretty good,” but illness revealed how much better I could care for myself — for both healing now and thriving later.
My mission now is to share everything I’ve learned — one body at a time. Because I know what it feels like to not feel good, and I want to help others prevent that, as best they can.
These days, my life is fully devoted to health — my own and that of others — while constantly learning more about the two things that fascinate me most: movement and nutrition. My daily practices, from training to eating, are the core of my life, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.
Over the years, I’ve explored a wild range of movement: hobbyist rock climbing back in Canada, aerial hoop just for fun, running, kettlebell flow, acro yoga, kickboxing, MMA — and that one hip-hop dance class I bailed half way through because I was a hot mess on legs.
My training and certifications include:
RYT200, 50hr Adjusters Teacher Training, 50hr Meditation Teacher Training, 50hr Yoga Nidra Teacher Training, 50hr Critical Alignment Therapy, 50hr Pre & Postnatal Teacher Training, Birth Doula, Movement Therapy — plus a collection of continuing education courses to keep expanding what I know.
